Kitchen Volunteers- Marcia Clark and Kate Hutson both come to St. Andrew's Children's Clinic as often as they can to prepare everything from oranges and apples to nachos for people to snack on over the course of the day. Written by Elyse Powers.
The Children
Angelita Ruiz- A story about a 5-year-old girl who was born without legs, but has been fit with prostheses by the doctors at St. Andrew's Children's Clinic. Written by DeJohn Rose.
Jose Maldonado Montes- A story about a boy born with cleft lip and cleft palate and the speech therapy that will enable him to speak normally. Written by DeJohn Rose.
Luis Cabrera- A story about a young man suffering from severe mental retardation on his last trip to St. Andrew's Children's Clinic. Written by DeJohn Rose.
Pablo Hernandez- A story about a 6-month-old baby boy who was orphaned at birth and now suffers the consequences of his mothers untreated syphilis and drug use. Written by DeJohn Rose.
Little Hands that Speak- A story about Ailish Roscon, a 4-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy and is deaf. She attends St. Andrew's Children's Clinic to work with speech and hearing specialists at the clinic. Written by Tiffany Kimmell with a slideshow produced by Christina Licata.
Children of St. Andrew's Slideshow- A slideshow featuring many of the children who received treatment at St. Andrew's Children's Clinic on November 5, 2009. Produced by DeJohn Rose.
A Boy and His Translator- A story about Rodrigo Cortez, a 9-year-old boy who just got a prosthetic leg, and his translator Carolina Romero, a student at Lourdes Catholic School. Written by Elyse Powers.
A Journey to Sound for a Special Little Boy- This is the story of David Fierro. He was born with Treacher-Collins Syndrome and travels with his parents to St. Andrew's Children's Clinic to receive treatment that will hopefully improve his hearing. Written by Christina Licata.
The Sounds of St. Andrew's- This is the story of Luis Mendivil, a 5-year-old boy who has been deaf since age 1. At St. Andrew's he receives treatment for his condition, and on this special day recieved hearing aid implants. Watch the video of Luis' story here. Written and produced by Charles Golestani.
Step by Step- This is a story and slideshow about 6-year-old Joaquin Ortega, a boy born with spina bifida. He attends St. Andrew's to receive treatment, including leg braces and physical therapy to learn how to walk. Written and produced by Christina Licata.

Evaluation Slideshow- For the children who traveled to CIMA Hospital in the hopes of getting corrective surgery, one of the first steps is an evaluation by a pediatrician to make sure they are healthy enough to undergo the procedure. Here, Mia from Nogales, Sonora is evaluated. Photographs by Aleksa Brown.
From Evaluation to Surgery Slideshow- After evaluation Mia was selected for cleft palate surgery. Mia's journey began the previous year. The surgery was not possible because she was too young, but her mother found a way back to Hermosillo on Oct. 10, 2009 for Mia's life-changing surgery. Slide show by Roxana Vasquez.
