Rap Culture and God: The History of Hip Hop

Rap Culture and God is an African - American Studies course at the University of Arizona, taught by Professor Alex Nava. The course focus is the study of popular culture and religion in African-American and Latino communities and the roles that Hip Hop and Rap music play in these areas.
The class is upbeat and interesting, higly suggested to University of Arizona students. This particular lecture is about the history of Hip-Hop. At this time the class is also reading, "Decoded," by Jay-Z. Join in Thursday, March 1, 2012 as I cover it live!
